Medicare — “Australia's national health care funding system — gives residents of Australia access to affordable, high quality health care.”

I have translated a series of information booklets and various application forms for Australian Health Insurance Commission. Many of the NEW downloadable pdf files in Russian available on www.hic.gov.au are samples of my work, including the new Medicare Welcome Kit. However, documents dated 2003 were translated by someone else.

In the past, someone had already translated the materials, but it was obvious that several different people worked on the translation as there was no consistency in using terms and proper names in Russian (I wonder what the project manager was doing...). I spotted the problem right away and eliminated it in my work.
